Stan Sperlak was recently elected full signature member of the Pastel Society of America, a very noteworthy award.  Congratulations Stan!

Sean Taylor - Since his successful "Art of Relaxation" show at SOMA last summer, Sean had two addition solo shows:
"Sean Taylor: owes me money" at Ghostprint Gallery in Richmond, VA in October, 2009
"Identity Crisis" at Artists House Gallery in Philadelphia, PA in January, 2010
Both shows continued in the autobiographical vein that he began in "Relaxation," with visual and metaphorical references to the times he spent in the respective cities. To read reviews of these shows please follow these links:

Maxi Cohen -" I've been photographing and filming in Ladies Rooms Around the World (as far as I have gone) for 25 years.
In 2009, I filmed shorts in Burning Man and at a Sexuality Conference, besides photographing elsewhere.
Each of the short films is very different (from the Aboriginal Outback to Tel Aviv), with subjects spanning from
political outcry and abuse to celebration.
This latest in New York has inspired a feature documentary."

Matthew Rose -
Matthews stamp sheet, Rubens Rounding Third, won first prize for the competition at MUFI, the stamp museum in Mexico.
It's about baseball, art, stamps, Rubens and life at third base.
