Jim Inzero (American b.1972) earned his degree in Interior Architecture from Maryland Institute College of Art. Inzero, traveled in Mexico, and studied under encaustic painter, Ezshwan Winding. A transformation in his painting accompanied his career migration from Connecticut and residing on the Metedeconck River, Ocean County, New Jersey in 2001.
Inzero’s muse is the ocean environment. In his encaustic paintings, he hopes to convey the feelings of gratitude and bounty he draws from reflecting upon the vastness of sea and sky. Inzero creates glowing sea and landscapes with diffused light and mist with a quiet and serene effect. Painted on wood panels, these mood paintings of an all-over color field bring out an exquisite sensibility for muted hues.
His work is included in galleries in Newbury, Mass, New Canaan, CT., and other towns along the East coast, as well as both in corporate – Hilton Hotels and private collections throughout the U.S. Inzero’s work has been featured in New Jersey Shore Life, Exit Zero Magazine, and Philadelphia Magazine.
